Thanks. That is a good one.. I asked someone recently if I could get some diagrams of parts I wanted to buy, and so far after asking twice have not got diagrams, only passing mentions of some critical dimensions. Concentricity of particular operations in a part concern me, and I'm still hoping I get a clear description, better yet a diagram. It's possible the guy doesn't want to give me a diagram fearing I might make off with it and not need to buy parts, but there's no need to fear that, as I can make my own, but choose not to in this case because why reinvent that particular wheel? But the other possible answer concerns me more: perhaps there is no adequate diagram to show?! In this case, maybe I have to be wary of buying parts anyway, because if I can't see a diagram, can I be sure the machinist got to see one good enough to make the parts accurate enough for me?

If selling parts, I STRONGLY recommend that you show GOOD diagrams to buyers on request, not just to your machinist.
