    Very cool. A friend of mine and I did his house with LED strips and a laser projector. The LED strip controller looks at the ILDA output from quickshow and averages it so the LEDs always match the laser projection.

    That's cool! Are you sure that the LEDs is not running off of the DMX output on Quickshow? Or does the strip controller have a DB25 input and he is using a Y cable to split off the signal to the animation laser?

    Yeah, it's not the DMX out because then we would have had to hook up an ENTTEC and write DMX values for every cue, where making a board that looks at the modulation signals means that it takes no additional programming time to make everything match. There's a board that buffers the output from the FB3-QS and splits it out to the microcontroller for the LED strips and to the laser projector (X-Laser Skywriter Mini).
