Ok, fair enough. Does look that way if you bear that in mind when looking. But also, the syntax also appeared to suggest mutual exclusivity of the two bits each side of the comma. Take it whole, one phrase: "Random polarization, not 100% TEM 00". See what I mean?

The model number is from Laser Chorus which was a name brand item for High End Systems that made entertainment lighting and still continues to make lighting to this day. The true manufacture of this laser tube was PMS out of Colorado. I am curious as to where you got your specs? Can you share your source so that I may cross-reference some other tubes I have?

The last Yellow HeNe I sold was producing 2.2 mW and it was not NOS. The Ophir meter head used to verify the power is calibrated every year by Ophir for CDRH and OSHA guidelines since we calibrate opthalmic lasers with it twice a year on 3 lasers. The actual meter used is calibrated every year at the same time as well and is used on multiple types of lasers.

I just wanted to clear up any doubts. I've seen it many times on various lasers where the lasers max power is only 1/2 of the warning sticker. As far as what the actual specs are for this tube are, I have no idea.

    Warmest Regards,
    Matt

By the way I can get a polarization filter and check it. I can take a picture of it going through the filter.
