Yes they do.
The only case I'm aware of where it might matter where it came from is in a case where a dealer tried to violate the Pangolin Dealer agreement and then sent his customers to Pangolin corporate for assistance rather than handling it himself. Bill has talked about this a little bit in public, but I'm not privy to all the details of the case.Does it matter where is comes from, as long as it's a legitimate product serial number?
In the end though, Pangolin will always go the extra mile for the end user. Ask anyone who runs Pangolin gear and they'll tell you the same thing.

PS: As for the issue of fake or cloned QM-2000 boards, I don't think that's a big threat. The encryption Pangolin uses is pretty darned good. Someone would have to put an awful lot of effort into breaking that, and given how small the market place is for laser equipment, I can't see it being lucrative enough for a criminal to take the risk.
I'm with Brad on this: I'm avoiding the sale not because of any misgivings about the product, but rather because the prices are too high for me right now.
