I will probaly go with "save-as"and adding numbers and daylie backups. Will look for a system that does this before windows shuts down.
And doctor: admin's clearly trying to provoke me into getting mad more..probaly because im not that welcome here.

Hi, sorry to hear about this unfortunate sequence of events. In the update, LSX has a warning message 'save your show to a new location when encrypting' to remind users to not accidentally over-write their master copy. Like The_Doctor has said, it may be possible to recover some or most of your work by direct-reading the previous file from the hdd, and attempting some majic, I've done this for another user and recovered a corrupted show.
Some consolation, it's easier and much faster the second time around, maybe you can make it even better I look forward to seeing your results!
Yeah im also not looking to fight...discussion will lead to bans and i need this forum/its users.
Good night everyone. I hope that andrew can just fix this in an update of lsx. So that it wont open anything when the pass you enter is incorrect.

i would like to just chime in and say the show borg made was really excellent. well done, and i'm sorry this happened.
suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
Incremental backups are the only way to go when working on a large project. I do this often on my private game server because of all the files that can get overwritten. I normally have a 3 version retention. It works well, especially with small files sizes where space isn't an issue.

This space for rent.
The Sad part is the show, if it was the one on Youtube, had some artistic merit.

Qui habet Christos, habet Vitam!
I should have rented the space under my name for advertising.
When I still could have...
Not that this is any consolation but whenever I have screwed something up like that, wiping out a file or overwriting 500 lines of code, I normally do things better the second time around.
