I got this thing in my room. They threw it in the waste bin when I was working in a DJ shop and I fished it out (with their consent). The blue LED doesn't work and the tilt motor is broken, so not really useful. Most of the time I just let it pan around slowly. It has some beautiful gobos though...
I don't know the manufacturer, but a Google search for "mini LED moving head" reveals the same unit. The price sticker reads €250. Not sure if that's what you after, but I believe this is the smallest RG(B) moving head I've seen so far. It doesn't produce much light though...
What type of moving head are you after?
Wash, spot/profile, beam or effect?
Or is just a case of cannabalising a moving yoke?
If in doubt... Give it a clout?
Have a look at these: http://www.robe.cz/products/article/robin-100-ledbeam/ have 40 of them and they are fast and powerful.
Also these: http://www.robe.cz/products/article/robin-minime/ its a small video projector/moving head, had one for demo and it was not bad for a 300 ANSI Lumens.
They are much more expensive but you will have them working next year and probably many after that.

I have two one works fine the other one the stepper motor just rotates the gobo with no control I had extra controller chips the company a bought them from had sent me I tried swapping those no change stepper just kept rotating I see there are more chips on the driver circuit with heat sinks on them I do not have any spares for those I wish I could get a schematic for one of these heads.
I removed the gobo from the one head and use it for a wash light for now until I figure out whey the one gobo motor just spins.
Maybe the hall sensor doesn't pickup the magnet attached to gobowheel.
Hi Bart
Very good point I will look into that.
