    I just did a quick read up on the progress with the 9mm blues..... Ah, yeah..... Count me in for copper 9mm housings

    I'm not really interested in it capability to hold heat ( thats bad ), only its thermal conductivity to transfer the heat thru to a heatsink.. Its the surface area of the heatsink, which dissipates the heat.

    Interested in a few too; but can you make them larger too; so that the entire body is a complete mount.

    From a single 30mm cube of copper.

    Mounting holes from the top, 4.5mm

    Make two holes ( threaded M3 ) at the back; down near the bottom, so that a wire clamp can be added to clamp the thermistor cable and drive cables.

    Add a 5mm hole in the top center rear for a temp sensor.

    Add two tiny V in the bottom front and rear for easy alignment.

    Add a small index so that the diode cannot rotate.

    So it looks like there is a greater need for these now with the 1w greens. Ill get a small batch ordered shortly.

    Ordered yesterday.. If I'm lucky I might see them before the new year.

    Also ordered a whole heap of DT scanner mounting plates to allow the scanner to be screwed down from above..
