I saw it a couple times back in about 2001 or 2 perhaps and enjoyed it. More than Illuminations at Epcot so, that's my target for Thursday.

You're going to have to haul ass through the park if you want to hit everything and still make it to Tavares by 2:30. It's a solid hour, and maybe 1:15, from Universal to Tavares.
I don't plan to be IN Tavares by 2:30. You said load in was 4 pm so, I figured on leaving Universal around 2-2:30 since I know it's about an hour and fifteen or so. I'm guessing maybe about 4-5 hours in the park perhaps?

I think I've got a hookup coming through Panama City, which is a plus.

I've got family down there so I could probably fly in for a few days and visit home, then hitch a ride down to the event. He also works on the base I'm trying to get to, so that could hopefully work in my favor.

Ok! I think I've got all that figured out.

I'll ask if he wants to split a room or something too, after that's decided, I'll check up my schedule, and whether it'll conflict with anything. I don't think it will though.

I really don't know what I am going to bring

I only have 1 mobo with a laser on it (melles is gone)... I could whip up a 445 for the other I suppose with crap laying around lol

but I dunno, wasn't my stuff too bright for that room last time?

    Hey LJ!

Long time no chat dude! Will be great to see you again.

Frank: Maybe just bring the one working Mobo then? I plan to bring my q-beam, so we can slave them together if you want...

As for it being too bright, we should have a lot more power in the other projectors this time around, so the beam rails won't wash out the other projectors like they did last time. (I'm not even going to bring my 3 lower power projectors this time, because the Pluto's are so much brighter.)

Also, several people have PM'ed me about organizing a trip to either Disney, Universal, or Sea World to coincide with this FLEM. Brad already mentioned going to Disney Hollywood Stuido (formerly MGM) on Thursday, and then hitting Universal on Friday. Anyone else want to kick around ideas for other theme park trips? (Personally, I'd love to go see Blue Man Group again... They do shows nightly at the custom theater they have right at the entrance to Universal, across the river from the City Walk.)

A suggestion for FLEM.... (and partially because I missed it at SELEM) but, I'd like to spend a little time, especially since Bill will be there, on tweaking color palettes. Perhaps in LD2000, Beyond AND Quickshow. I know there are the wizards but, I understand there are some "under the hood" manual adjustments that can be made. I'd like to learn/do a little more towards making sure my projector output is the best it can be and think that adjustments to the color palette may be an area where I am lacking. Especially with these new Pluto's. Things just seem too "white" and muddled.

Bill will be there, so be sure to mention it to him. I'm sure he'd be willing to spend as much time as we want on palettes.

I'll bring a quad-copter or 5 to show off. I just finished building my hi-speed quad-copter and big camera ship. I bought a micro hex-copter I may throw in for fun.
Maybe I should bring a laser too?

I think Wishes and Illuminations : Reflections of earth is way cooler. Though I'm sure Illuminations is probably more appealing since there's no lasers in wishes :P
