    Try www.EksmaOptics.com

My employer is one of the US Reps for Eksma. Two pieces of 3x3-10 LBO are available, at 305$ a piece.
I know that is probably not the pricing your looking for, but this is a scientific grade crystal.

    hello this and really expensive
at wholesaler it costs $ 140 with LBO

    Nd:YVO4: 3x3x5mm, Nd doping concentration 0.5 atm%, surface1 - HR@1064+532 nm, HT@808nm, surface2 - AR@1064+532nm

    SHG:LBO both faces AR@1064/532nm 2X2X10mm

but it does not take paypal
    I try my luck here

    if I can not find
I will make with a transfer

    thank you for the proposal

    Phillipe,

Your request confuses me a little. Do you want vanadate OR LBO? Are you trying to replace the crystals in a CNI or Laserscope Head? If you are able to source both a vanadate and a LBO crystal for a total of $140 then please PM me because this is fantastic.

    I'm looking vanadate if someone 4mm x 4mm x 5.5mm

Or change 2 vanadate / LBO

    Nd:YVO4: 3x3x5mm, Nd doping concentration 0.5 atm%, surface1 - HR@1064+532 nm, HT@808nm, surface2 - AR@1064+532nm

    SHG:LBO both faces AR@1064/532nm 2X2X10mm

CNI and expensive LBO in CNI costs 200 @ $ 250
CNI margin 3 @ 4 times the actual price they are real thief
they are not very reliable a shock transporting vanadate and moves immediate loss of power
their mounting system of the vanadate and too crappy
    CNi and expensive and unreliable

I saw a friend arrives at a new source with the cover off LBO copper take off or screws on other new
I repair but I do not ever buy a source CNi this crap and overpriced
it is time that is said and to get off their foot ESTALE I Hate this crap CNI

you will find at affordable prices here

    Nd:YVO4: 3x3x5mm, Nd doping concentration 0.5 atm%, surface1 - HR@1064+532 nm, HT@808nm, surface2 - AR@1064+532nm
    Unit price:$95 FOB

    SHG:LBO both faces AR@1064/532nm 2X2X10mm
    Unit price:$48 FOB

but it does not take paypal

    That's a pretty good price.
Contact the seller perhaps, maybe they can sell you those 2 components by sending you a payment request on paypal.

Also let us know about the quality of the crystals!
I currently use KTP + nd:yvo4 in my setup but have been thinking of switching to LBO.

Also have a talk to bridge from laserwave.
He gave me good prices on other crystals so far.

As I should have said, we manufacture our own KTP, KDP, LBO, and BiBO. we don't just remarket it.
Sorry I could not be of help, but that division grows and coats really high quality crystals.

    PJ,

Be careful with the LBO as the nonlinear coefficient is approximately 1/4 that of KTP and therefore you need a really long crystal to get good conversion efficiency.

Hey Steve talking about growth and crystals (hope I'm not bringing this topic too far off (if so sorry and I'll just leave this question aside as the importance is little)).
But I remember that reading from Sams page someone grew a KDP crystal with Potassium phosphate.

Now I know this will never replace the commercially grown crystals that have a 1. a high purity. 2. AR coating. 3. very polished side.
But what exactly were the major factors that came to play for the person performing the experiment to use a very high powered pulsed laser to get any form of green output?

I also exactly haven't really figured out what is with the ND doping concentration. You want the lowest doping amount possible for the best efficiency?

    MasterPj,

With a pulsed laser, by which I assume you mean Qswitched or Modelocked, its very easy to get low conversion rate green. I use a mix of randomly oriented ground KTP as a IR viewer card for moderate powered pulsed lasers. However, a proper crystal with decent conversion rate is X-ray oriented during manufacture to a tiny fraction of a degree on Phi and Theta.

With focused, 7 nS, 6-10 milliJoule pulses, even a randomly oriented Quartz crystal produces a tiny amount of green. You can see it if you have IR only safety glasses on.
With shorter pulses, its even easier.

So yeah, with practice, you could even cleave the crystal on one axis, and get better results. But the sloppy cut process won't work with CW light, you need high peak power pulses, even if they have low average energy.

So yeah, the easily available KDP crystal doubles a certain narrow frequency range like mad.

With certain materials, such as one I'm PMing you about that is commonly available in Europe, its easy to see green conversion if you have even weak pulsed 1064.

Not something you would see with a direct diode though, it needs to be a source laser with storage time, such as Nd:yag or Nd:Vandate.

    Sorry for the thread diversion.
