650 usd ea if you buy 10 ..
Yep, and so a 2W head is going to cost you ~$1500 to build at those prices (driver, cube, waveplate, collimators, mounts, etc). So 50% more than the equivalent DPSS head.

I expect you can get 1W diodes for similar prices elsewhere if you're buying more than a couple.

They need to get to about $400 each to be equivalent, although above 2W outputs it gets cheaper, as DPSS seem to go up by ~$1k/watt above 2W. You're into different combining methods then though.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

As I know, DHOM is sell their equipment and no product lasers anymore.
Do you still can buy lasers from DHOM?

i don't know.. i know that the prices at ultralasers have recently gotten more expensive and he's added a bunch of new wavelengths, but i don't know his current source for lasers.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

This isn't a bad price for such a wild piece of gear. That is a very unique brown. lol

Yes, but everyone concerned with the purported '520 brown-frown' keeps forgetting how fundamental the Red is in these equations.. I haven't had a chance to (personally) experiment with a Red other than 640, but.. For sure, if you're using a 637, or 642-650, you'll see a - slight - difference in your 'native palette' (and by that, I mean 'pre-software', just raw optical-comboing..)

..Software can aid in 're-defining colors' (ie: you might need to go in-deep and 're-define' what "yellow" or "orange" is, for example..) to shift, via greater-proportions of one line or another, but.. the Red you start with will make a diff.. I'd like to see, for example, a 'raw, optical-combination chart' (photos.. which might be a lil tricky.. of 520 w/ 637, 640, 642, 650, and - for the heck of it / lumia-purposes, 635 ...each of those + 520. And, it'd be great to have those 'categorized' / segmented by Manuf. (ie: Oclaro Red-X + 520 = [photo], and so on..) for Ref..

..But, indeed, an all-DI Pj with a couple Red-lines, a couple Greens, and 2-3 Blues, maybe a native-Cyan / Violet, would be ideal.. kinda like an Ion laser
