    Default Galvo failure

I recently had both galvos stop working, first one then the other in my X-Box Chiprojector. The plan is to simply replace with a new set but just as and FYI, what would be the primary weak link from a trouble shooting stand point?

Both go down, so: Either cooling of the amp, heat sinking of the galvo mount, or a bad PSU would be where I would start. Watch your scan angles, too.

Bingo. Upon removing the galvo driver i found 2 tiny glass fuses that appear to be blown. the filament inside is like a human hair, even with a maginfier i had to squint... Hopefully RadShack carries these little $%^#.
