It's rather funny... I wasn't expecting much of a crowd since I didn't really do a huge marketing push and, I'm getting random e-mails from people I don't know asking about reserving tickets for certain shows. I guess the word is beginning to spread. Starting to get a *little* bit of a case of nerves and looking forward to it being over! lol

Well... post mortum is, the shows themselves went well. We had an issue with a ground hum in the first show but that was run off a laptop and Layla but the second two were on HD24. The attendence was less than I would have hoped for but, I also didn't market it to the general public as it was more of a trial test run. I did an e-mail blast to a number of clients and had some interest but several no-shows of people who said they were coming. The next go-round will be marketed properly with printed tickets that can be sold ahead of time. I used a wristband system this time and people just paid at the door. I guess we had about 15 people. I forgot to hit "record" on the video until a couple songs in on the first two shows - far too much to be thinking about. I'll see about getting a little posted soon.

Oh, and a huge "Thank You' goes out to Mark (ImageLight) for his invaluable assistance and occasional ass kicking to keep me on point. Next time... we're packing the place, dude.

Thanks Brad!!! I appreciate you letting me join in on all the photonic fun and look forward to doing it again..

Even with the low head count, the reviews I heard were very positive.. One person said, "the 3D effect of rear projecting on the scrims was awesome".. Because the house lights were low when they were seated, he didn't even know there were any "screens".. Another said, "the beams were amazing"..
All in all, it was very successful and fun to do..

Also, A big shoutout to Brads amazing staff at the conference center.. They are very fun to work with and really made the event run smooth...

We enjoyed the shows very much! The setup was very impressive, it was like I was back at SELEM. Thanks Brad for giving me the rundown on the equipment, it was cool to see how the pros do it.

Each scrim is sixteen feet wide and twelve feet high. The top foot or so of each is unusable because of the new way I mounted it in the ceiling. With the angles involved to ensure nothing terminated in the audience, I suspect the actual images were no larger than about 7-8 feet square. There was a gap of about 2-3 feet between each scrim.
