Epyn, it looks like your camera has taken a few "hits" I have a camera that is like that too. It's an older one that I only used for beam shots.

    How about Dave's drivers?
Dave- have you had any complaints, failures or returns from customers? (e.g. "the driver popped my diode(s)"
Iirc I think I read that a few flexmods had pooped a few LDs. Please don't quote me on that because I can't remember which thread I read that on .

... I've designed a pretty simple high-power driver for my diode-modules running with 12Volts and driving currents until 9Amps in CW, pulsed or analog modes:

The actual driver has an Arduino 'on board', but this is more for proper communication/controlling in CNC-applications.

Could be interesting to start selling the driver modules without diodes ;-)

Dave, I like the higher voltage input. If you could get it up to 48vdc there are a lot more high quality psu meant for telecom applications that could be put to use. Yes I want to copy a few members here and go din rails for the power supplies.

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.

Nope, nothing yet.. Every driver I ship is fully tested by checking the LD current on a CRO..

Hmm, that may be pushing it a bit.. The stepdown converter in this new design is good for up to 36v... The whole intention was so that the scanner psu can power everything..
