    Have a cool Yule, ya'll.

Yes, here in the US it's lost it's meaning and become way over commercialized. It s almost not fair what the retail industry has done to its employees. Won't surprise me if they start being open on Christmas Day just to help those people that need last minute gifts or want to start returning things early. For us it will be church tonight, then just family time with hors d' ourves. Tomorrow will be breakfast and gift opening and the. a family dinner. Only 5 of us this year.

I agree with this 100%. This year me and the misses agreed to not give each other gifts, and only give to others. Next year I think we will find a local organization to help. Its very sad seeing the holiday pushed so far from the original meaning that it has turned into a consumer cartoon of sorts. Its not about what you want/receive, its about what you can give of yourself.

*Sitting here 2:42AM drinking eggnog and cognac, watching "It's a Wonderful Life", and wishing everyone here a peaceful Christmas, and Holiday!!!*
