    Ok, so my package from Pangolin arrived today, and having jst quickly unboxed it I took a couple of quick photos.

    2 things that jumped out at me straight away were the small size of the scanner block compared with the DT30 block, and the fact the block appears to be able to be fixed by bolts down through the top, removing the need for a separate mounting plate or getting access from underneath.

    I'm yet to work out if you can withdraw the X galvo to get access to the mounting hole underneath but I'll have to tackle that over the weekend.

    (oh, and a shot of the Safetyscan Lens mounts too, for curiosities sake...)

    Very small indeed. Norty, what is the beam height for the galvos? It looks spot on with the DTs. Is it 20mm?

    Very Very interested in these as i have 2 projectors needing new scanners soon, and whilst i would love Cambridge, i would find it very hard to justify. Small size and small amps is also a big advantage for me, as pace is always an issue. Norty - i shall watch with interest!

    Sorry if i have missed the info elsewhere, but roughly when will the complete system with drivers be available?

    it's a little known fact that steve can drive scanners directly from brain waves.
