    I find outdoors that distribution is more important than size/output.
    Getting your area covered is the key, and a single machine will just end up with a stream of haze running downwind. A fan to break it up can make the stream wider, but is really no substitute for multiple streams running together.
    Someone here mentioned using poly tube with holes to give lots of small fog sources.

    Just looking at a new hazer myself and saw this thread, anyone used a Martin Magnum 2500? - I have seen one for around $800 USD top of my budget for this really.
