I am up for a later date so more people can attend my only commitments I have already is May 10th to the 17th and Aug 5th to the 19th

It would be worth it to pay a little more for a better venue with food close by, I will support that dose it have a parking lot and will they allow a 20 foot camp trailer to sit in it ?

I'm pretty sure it's all street parking. As I recall, there are a lot of spaces, something I'll verify when I do a walkthrough soon.

Glad to hear about the possibility of a 2015 NW LEM! Thanks for looking at venues again Jonathan. I am wide open in May except for the weekend of 16-17th, will double check that.

I haven't been doing much lasing lately due to a new job, would love to bust it out and hang with you guys though. I did replace my ailing blue diode you guys helped me diagnose last year. The color balance is screwy now, I guess I need to upgrade red now.

I think it's best, at this point, to put off until Fall. I have two or three venues that are options. I just don't think I will have the time to make this happen the way I'd like to until a little later in the year.

Will try to set a date soon and start a new thread accordingly.

Yes The weekend prior to Thanksgiving would work fine for me also, the only time I am tied up around then would be the last week of September and the first week of October.

I will post a new thread for NWLEM 2015, set for one weekend before Thanksgiving, once I get the venue locked in here soon.

In the meantime, how about we do a laser meeting in Oakland, CA? I spoke with Picasso the other day and he tells me his warehouse is especially empty these days and, with a little coordination as to which weekend etc, we could do a laser meeting there. (Right in Emeryville.)

One more LEM option, for those that don't mind a little road trip, is a little camp in the middle of NW California, Picasso's other place. We could do a really neat satellite LEM out there with basically no light pollution. I could even file for FAA clearance, for fun. There are cabins, trees, and water, from what I'm told.

Let me know what your thoughts are for the two interim options and I'll start a thread for one and/or the other and see what sort of LEM[s] we can throw together. My availability is the last weekend of July, late August, and parts of September, so far.

Wow one weekend before Thanksgiving is great that works fine for me way to go Jonathan and as for Picasso's other place that sounds wonderful, I could bring a generator and any other items needed to help make it the best it can be, propane and space heaters, fold up tables, extension cords LED lighting food, water any thing I have that may be needed, how about a big hanging screen for the beams to bounce off of, let me know what may be needed and I'll try and help out with supplies and such
