Nice beamshots very familiar. To avoid that someone is getting the impression that those beamshots came off that laserwave here are some more in different colors. The beamshots are ours and are from our 637nm/ 650mw module not from a laserwave. I took the shots from a Heatsink based projector as shown in my signature. (that is why we have them also in different colors.

hey bridge , any reason you cant get a lower divergence red ?? 1.5mrd is a bit high for single mode reds
if you were <1mrad i would be interested a least then i could have somthing to match my 1w oem-vs 532

Andycon, if I cam to yours could you test the power? Also do you a piece of kit to remove any infrared?

Also do you a piece of kit to remove any infrared?
You should only get IR on a DPSS module, from the pump diode, if it is unfiltered at the output.
On an RGB projector, the dichros do a pretty good job of filtering any IR, but these days most half decent DPSS come with an IR filter anyway.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

What's power your want? the small divergence meaning little large beam, if you want power is not high, we can do <1mrad, if you want high power red, <1mrad will give you very large beam

I thought nobody will thought your beamshots with our red, no worries.
If you like, we still can compare beam during prolight+sound, Frankfurt.

900mW is 2pcs 500mW diode combine with PBS, we don't over driver it.
    circle beam 1W is 8pcs 170mW(not 150mW) single mode diode combine .

The 1W is comfortably pushing (non tweaked) 1.03W before the optics, with 532 and 445 combined at 5.56W before the scanners.

Andy, sounds like a date right there
In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite - Paul Dirac
