Thanks but they're not as good pictures as what I see from other people either!

The sharpness of the boundaries definitely improved with the colour correction board, so that's one thing I would definitely recommend. The one from Stanwax is excellent although the one you see here is Kvant.

All I can say regarding the photos, is a lot of luck involved as I only have the Casio Z80, so I have to choose from preset modes (it doesn't have a laser one!).

The other thing is to cheat and pause the laser then at least you don't have movement to contend with.

Maybe it's better camera settings. But everything always looks more sharp and vivid.

I cant talk about the laserwave, but my 2 new projectors have the 1.4W lightspace 637 single mode units, and they are super tight and compete with the 3.2w 450 and 2.3w 532 - in fact the balance is a little pink so the green is loosing. very very very impressed.

Yeah dont we all ,been waiting 2 years since bill first told me they were coming, would even be nice to even know a price of them. To even know if its worth holding on for them i might not even be able to afford a set

    yup... that's what I mean.

(I see a lot more of things like pics 8, 9, and 34, than I do 19, 20, 31 and 37. Maybe it's the cues, the haze, the camera, my eyes, whatever....)

That's why I wonder if Graham got all that he paid for. My experience is like yours. From what I've seen both in my own projector and in several others, the best ratio for white balance for 637 appears to be 2:2:1 (445:532:637). I've certainly not seen any brightness issues with 637 myself. Despite the photos above, I'd say the green is the weakest colour in mine.

    Default About Laserwave red

    We had 2 type red:
One is Square single beam red, 638nm
The other is circle beam red , 637nm
Both beam are strictly test at 35m(factually our test is not line, it's length more than 35m).
638nm Squre vertical way is smaller, also we can do more smaller than customer requirement.
Also we using 8pcs 170mW 637nm combine to 1W, that's meaning our power is always about 1.2W after collimation optics, knife edge, etc..
If anybody interesting to do compare with us, I will take it to Prolight+sound Frankfurt, I am pleasure we can do compare in real life not pictures.
    Best regards!

We always remark divergence is <2mrad.
I know some Chinese company and some Euro self done laser remark 0.65mrad.
As I said, we 'd like compare beam with them.
    Best regards!

whats up with the 900mw specs ?
i am looking for some single mode red , cant make up my mind, 1w laserwave or the suposedly super tight 1.3w from lightspace
So the 900mw is a single module with a square beam profile, whereas the 1W is a cluster of 8 150mw diodes with a round profile. Not a lot in it really - But I prefer the beam quality. The 1W is comfortably pushing (non tweaked) 1.03W before the optics, with 532 and 445 combined at 5.56W before the scanners.
