You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?
I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.
Dave, if your wife ever hears you calling her "easy", she'll clock you over the head with a frying pan!
Yup. I agree. Better treat her right. They're few and far between.
Can confirm. Met her at SELEM last year. Definitely a keeper. (Though I have to admit that Hitekvoop's wife is also a Unicorn of sorts. She digs lasers, digs all kinds of music, and can actually sing amazingly well, plus she didn't mind hanging around with a bunch of laser geeks for a long weekend!) One in a bazillion, that one!

She has got to be the most Pro looking laserist I've seen.![]()
A face of real concentration and looks to be doing a dam fine job looking at the beam's shot.
And wearing proper ear defenders.

I'm smart enough to not type anything I wouldn't mind having the wife see, Adam! In fact, I confessed immediately and she thought it was funny - and perhaps a combination of the lasers, Floyd and being easy.
Norty: You set a great bar for child labor in the laser industry. (Great pics/work too!) I'll get my 20 month old to work, pronto!

It's funny the things she finds interesting actually - the art is good, but it's usually the site dogs that get her attention.
We often get to work with the same crews through the year so there's always people looking out for her, and she gets the run of the place in a fairly safe fashion.
I've also been able to instill in her when it is appropriate to be hanging around, and when it's not (lifting rigging, etc) and we're very lucky that once she's told, she doesn't do it, and also 'advises' other kids (big and small)where the dangers are (did someone say 'bossy'...??)
We probably take it for granted now, but I think she's quite lucky to be able to share the experiences - I bet her 'show and tell' sessions at school sound out of this world after a weekend away!
Anyway, WAAAAAAAAY off topic..... sorry![]()

UPDATE:
Wow. Oh wow. What a world you guys have taken me through! I am replying to my first post to 1) laugh at my idea of a $700 video projector + DAC and 2) give a huge thanks. Thank you very much PL for giving me the knowledge and advice that you are so good at giving. Especially dsli_jon. After breaking the laws of physics putting things into the van, traveling around the west coast, and learning a textbooks worth of information from you per day, I can honestly say you're most of the reason why I do what I do.
After spending a good chunk more than $700 I have just finally brought home a projector of my own (A Pluto RGB 2.0 3.5 Watt) and she's looking remarkable (after a few noted modifications). I hope that this is just one of many projectors to come.
Once again thanks to everyone at PL for holding my young hands in this industry. I hope to make every one of you proud in the near future.
