This is one, of only a handful of lasers I know of, that was modified by Coherent for an aerospace company. These units typically put out 3 watts, max. This one is currently doing 4W's of 532nm green output. I just replaced the pump diode with a brand new 18W unit. It comes stock with either a 9 or 12W depending on options selected. Those of you who know this unit will also know how to turn the current up to reach the 5-6 watts its capable of without any additional hardware. Runs in CW mode or q-switched to 80khz. Everything was just gone through by Coherent. Heat sink added to head, optics and components re-aligned and replaced as necessary . If you're looking for a laser for show use, in the lab, or for marking/engraving , I doubt you will find a better one at this price point. It's basically new at this point. The diode has about 30min of use for testing and pictures. That's it. Only 1 of 5 lasers in existence!
Includes: power supply/control unit, laser head, armored AR coated fiber, q-switch cable, interface cable from head to supply, power cord, lock key . Ready to go right out of the box, you need nothing else to get it to work. I will guarantee the laser for 14 days after receipt to not be doa or broke, contingent upon not opening the unit or modifying the output current or any other option. It must be returned in the same exact condition it was sent in, and no returns for buyers remorse or wive's/husband's being upset! But this wont be an issue since it is as described.
