Anthony;
Just remember you get what you pay for. $1000 isnt going to get you a great projector. Just something from the Chinese sweat shops...

..and on the red front if you're using it for beams you want 642 or 637nm.
The lack of suggestions listed here should tell you something.
One of the things I just thought about is... newbies pop up all the time looking for a quality laser or, laser and DAC combo for under this price or that price. ( Usually about $800 to $1000) Uh, revelation here... we're addicts. If such an item existed, we'd nearly ALL own it and be willing to discuss it to death with you.
Another thing to think about is that the vast majority of people here are hobbyists. These are the tinkerers and engineers of the world who would much prefer scrounging through a scrap heap to find an old desktop computer with a DVD burner in it, pull it apart and take out the diode, buy a block of aluminum and grind it into a holder, order a piece of the most high efficiency glass from an obscure source somewhere halfway around the world (as long as it isn't much more than about $30) as a lens, and shoot the resulting beam at a vibrating speaker with a bit of broken mirror taped to it. To see what it does.
I think a majority here are not going out and buying completed projectors. I could be wrong but, as a general rule I think more people here build than buy. So it cuts down the number of people who can respond to such a question.
(This isn't directed directly at YOU Anthony... it's kind of a general "first cup of morning coffee" musing.)

Anthony- it might be a better idea to purchase a thousand dollars worth of real parts. Green gives a huge bang for the buck and add a set of galvos and together with a free or low dollar software at least be able to get the needles under your skin.
Song-Even though these type projector are of no interest to me I am happy to see that you are posting a price rather than asking everyone to PM the secret price of the day. This way those interested will post and others can learn the value of what you are selling. Thank you.
