    Default Lighting simulation software

I wondered if any software exists that can simulate different lighting effects along with laser effects? Can Beyond do this?

    Thanks

    Lightconverse, Depence or Capture Polar.

Personally I favour the 1st one for laser beam quality although they all have good and bad points eg water modelling is good in Depence.

You can find examples on Youtube.

I use Chauvet's ShowXpress for lighting and it's 3d preview is decent. The software is free but the DMX hardware is pricey (sound like a familiar business model? . My oddly shaped environment is exhibited in this video: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-6K-1gdQMw.

    Sadly it doesn't do lasers.

Light converse blends seamlessly with Pangolin. I love it.

Works with Beyond. I don't have LD but I'm pretty sure it works with that (check with Bill or someone that has LD as well as Beyond).

Nothing works with QS so far as I'm aware as it doesn't have an Art Net output, unless its been added in a more recent build than I have.

BTW you can buy LC direct from Pangolin as they have their own special edition and it's much cheaper.

Thanks, don't think this one does lasers? It would be handy to be able to do both in one package.
