    Default Quickshow Timeline

Trying to create a show to music, How the hell do i copy a group of clips in the quick timeline and paste them to another point in the timeline Would be rather annoying if Pangolin didn't include a copy/paste function in the timeline

I've tried selecting the group and saving them to a cue but then it won't let me put that cue in the timeline

You can't copy cues in the timeline, or even move them to another track. This is one of my gripes with Pangolin's philosophy. Pangolin's company line is that Quickshow doesn't have "advanced" features included which is reflected in the price. I get that, and I'm perfectly fine with having less features in QS. But after comparing with Beyond, it seems the QS UI is needlessly crippled in many cases. For instance, try moving more than 10 cues between pages, or try moving them between workspaces. Or try re-arranging the page order (no drag & drop).

It's proper annoying how 'advanced' do they think copy and paste is surely it should be a 'basic' function. It's in every other platform and in every program that i've ever used which includes a timeline, like music daw's, video editing etc and in them it's a necessity as it takes a few hours to get your idea down instead of a few days

I only have the demo of QS and I just went into it and put a cue on the timeline and if you click on the timeline cue then click on the write in button then you can write the same cue in anywhere down the line you just have to click the write in button before each placement.

Why not raise it with Pangolin?
Beyond development is moving on apace, maybe they need to revisit QS and sort out a few basic usability issues.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

You can copy and paste cues on the time line, just one at a time on the same line. Copy the cue > Draw a new cue with the pencil tool > right click and paste. As Norty says, raise the other issues with Pangolin.
