Because of some garden-variety idiocy, I wound up receiving 6 spiral POINTED M9x.5 taps, instead of what I ordered, which was spiral FLUTED.

These are high speed steel, grade 6H, 3-flute spiral pointed plug taps.

So, my loss is your gain: these work great for hand tapping, whereas spiral fluted taps are generally better suited for high-speed rigid tapping. If you'd like to pick one up, I'll let them go for $40 a piece shipped to the US, or $35 plus shipping if you're outside the US. PM me for my PayPal address.
