^ Nice. I wonder if these oclaro/formerly opnext will take the abuse/overdriving that the mitsus can take .. ? If I know DTR's testing, we will soon find out ..

Eric, you are going to need to do a whole new string of cryo videos, which I am eagerly awaiting!

I decided to wait to obtain the diodes from DTR rather than purchase them directly through the manufacturer. The projector that is waiting for the Saturn scanners (to compare with the EMS 8000) has a quad of G71's. As soon as the comparison is done, I will exchange these for these HL63193MG's. Although that won't test them at super low temps, it will test them at -30 to -40 and will look at how well they can be collimated, combined and filtered.

It would be nice to know the emitter dimensions so we could compare them to the Mitsubishi diodes. But I don't see those dimensions listed on the datasheet....

I could but really prefer only to take payments when I have something in hand ready to go right out the door. I doubt I will sell out of them in a day so it should be safe. They will be here this week.
