I need to start twisting his arm to do next year's late summer LEM with me! I know between CarribLEM and SELEM and visiting the granddaughter vacation time is at a premium but, I'll see what I can do.

Was that last pic taken just before the Great Surfleet Fire of 2014?

I landed home at 22:30 meaning the journey home was an hour and a quarter shorter than the jouney to Surfleet despite having 2 sleep stops, 1 coffee & pee stop and a drink and snack stop on the way home!!
Had a great time and Im not that knackered even after staying up all Sat night staring lovingly at the bargain of the century.....The 99p Lexel 95 Krypton whitelight. Possible contender for my fave laser ever. When it first fires and the red and yellow are strong the white is just delicious.
Top marks to Jim for organising and all his work in preparing the hall and tidying up after us all (including cleaning the toilets!) to ensure that we can continue to use the hall meet after meet. Thanks Jim you are a bloody hero and we would be screwed without you.

Heres two random old farts silhouetted in the light of the bargain of the century.

My only disaster of the weekend was getting home to find my ceral was spille din the back of the car - discovered while removing the stickers from ALL over my car (inside n out) - Cheers Nigel.

As ever its just cool to hang out with everyone & socialise in the darkend room and tinker in the kitchen as well as seeing rare (LX95KR) and stupid (LSCP PV) lasers that you dont see every day and strange explosive characters from Holland who may pass through like a whirlwind. You are all the finest bunch of chaps in the land and its a pleasure to know & hang out with you all.

    finally....@ Paul

Its a remote (stage) QM server with 3x QM2000 a gigabit hub and all the gubbins to do e-stop over cat5 or XLR. Has facility for optional stage e-stop, and the stops and power lead all stash in the ends of the 4U half width case. It uses a SSD so it can go next to the Subs without crapping out & is light to carry about.

Right now important business - when is the next meet?
