    Default Impressive 3D POV display

Stumbled across a neat project this morning.

...and the guy who created it is only 19 years old.

Wow!!! I want one of these!

I imagine a larger version with higher resolution and the ability to stream content to it. To have such a device hanging from the ceiling or mounted on a platform in the middle of a room would be . . . awesome!!!

Since its being marketed as an advertising tool, I bet its got a corporation sized price tag.

DK, that room of yours is already more sophisticated than most clubs that I have been to... you better get two

Well, laser debt is eating at me at the moment, but this would be fun! I am imagining a larger model mounted in a cylinder that decends from inside the ceiling. Perhaps it won't just be my sci-fi fantasy in 5+ years.

... I'm remembering the >20 years old "Felix"-3D-display where a white/translucent Archimedic spiral was rotating as '3D-screen' and the bright pixels were projected by a laser from top or bottom.

It's essentially the same concept ... only the 'pixels' were timed LED's ...
