FYI I just ordered a bunch of relay boards with led status indicators. 5v supply to the board. Led for emission. Led for safe. Led for system power. Also, is a latching system so will cut emissions if power drops and won't start until start button is pressed.
Am waiting on delivery but should be in approx 8 weeks... (was cheaper to wait for them to slip it in with a larger run)

If anyone is interested, let me know
If in doubt... Give it a clout?

You can go ahead and laugh. This is all to scale lol. Used a mic.

Line on the back wall of the box is the neutrik connector depth.

Looks like I have plenty of room.

    Finished!

    5 FB3's work great over a 300' Cat5e cable!

I'll have my Enttec Dmx box soon will test it with that plus 5 FB3's.

Routed two USB ports to the panel so I could opt to use 6 FB3's or 5 plus the Dmx unit. Or just 4 fb3's.

The light pipes worked out great too!

Very satisfied with this. No more desk clutter.

Can you show how you fixed the light pipes please? That's the element I still haven't addressed in mine.

Very neat BTW, I like the serials engraved on the panel. I thought about that for mine, but then realised I may end up with different units inside at different points so will probably use DYMO labels.

I think i mentioned i was going to post some pics of my relay board, and I just finished fitting it lastnight, so here it is (I think it might've been another of your threads actually, but I haven't found it yet!)

4 pin connector on left is 5V/GND and red/white is connected to the cat5 interlock socket (striped and solids tied as pairs for maximum conductor area)

The Ethercon plug in the front is a dummy plug that ties the loop for testing purposes.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

    Here you go.

Just cut the prongs off this connector and glue it to the surface of the FB3. It fits right around the factory LED Lens.

Did you heat the pipe and bend it round a former to get the 180 turn in a nice small radius?

Mine is the same manufacturer as yours but unsheathed and I believe its thicker. Mine needs heating to do the bend.

Maybe I just buy some different one like yours. Did yours reach to the front panel ok? The max length i could get mine in wasn't quite long enough.

I have a load of these, plus a load of loose fibre on a roll.

Got a link to the ones you used? Are they Mentor?
