I don't post here very often, but I would potentially be interested in a couple...they are M9x0.5 threaded, correct? (if it makes any difference, I have ~1,400 posts on LPF and have bought/sold several things there)

    From Dave's website:"
Set includes 3 parts, being the diode housing, a retainer plate to clamp the diode in, and a metal foot. screws for clamp plate and mounting plate are included.

M9,0.5mm thread for commonly available lenses. Brass foot can be orientated in 2 different ways as shown in photo."

    Thanks Sugeek.

if I would be in, I would probably want either 1x5.6mm and 1x9mm, or 2x5.6mm, 1x9mm, and 1x3.8mm. Depending on the current monetary situations. I'm sure you all know the laser hobby has a tendency to empty your wallet...

OK, count me in for 8!

    I need 6x 5.6mm and 2x 9mm.

    Hey,

The adjustable housing is really only needed in conjunction with the 2mm lens. It allows a little diode movement to allow the diode to be centred in relation to the lens to minimise beam artefacts

Do these have some "wiggle room" compared to the diameter of the screws so you can 'center' the diode with respect to the collimator?

Is there any angular adjustment possible between the LD and the face of the collimator? Doesn't look like it, but I have not seen a mount that offers that degree of freedom.

I'm assuming it's straightforward to rotate the diode in either mount to adjust polarization?

Thanks for the info for the n00b...
