Hehe can't wait to add that shade of deep blue / violet to my projector!
Drooooolllll
Of course we'll need dichro's to combine them into the RGB mix, who will supply those??? And of course Easylase only supports three color channels so now we need a circuit that splits the B channel into 405nm and 473nm modulation; 405 nm for low blue output and gradually adding 473nm for intenser blue output so we have a deeper blue for nicer color rendering, prevent color washout and still have the dpss for brighter blue, ... PANIC...

I brought this up at CPF... Could we replace 473/457 with 405? My instincts tell me no, and that was the opinion over at CPF, but part of my asks "why not?" Even 671 is at the end of our viewing but we use it and get great color balance. I know we have R, G, and B color receptors in our eyes, but why can we see violet at all?![]()
Guess putting deep blue at pin 8 in the ILDA connector![]()
