Violet on pin 8 is supported by e.g. Pangolin but not on Easylase. But you gave me an idea: I don't use the intensity signal (pin 3) which is supported by EL and could be used as a forth color channel. Even the 8bit TTL can be connected to a DAC for an extra color channel but that will take some more work.
Is the Intensity pin used at all for total intesity in (dp)ss projectors?
My Raytrack driver safetyboard has the intensity modulation input but I don't see the point since controlling RGB simultaneously seems more convenient from a cross projector compatibility point of view.
