What surprises me is I can buy something on ebay from from China for $1 Aus with free postage, yet to post a letter here the stamp is $0.70. It's crazy. Makes you wonder how there is any profit in that.
China subsidizes shipping. Its one way the ensure exports. But when shipping back to china.. you pay 4 times more. Oh well.. luckily I don't ship stuff back very often.
