I don't know much about the OEM version or if it is actually even available right now from Riya Lasers. I also don't know the price. I only have the Riya Lite DACs.

try info at riyalasers.com for questions.

Yes, you can get very clear words and graphics. Spaghetti is a hobbyist package and the effects for text aren't as extensive as some of the more expensive professional packages, though. But, if you are creative you can do a lot. If you don't mind paying a few hundred more you might be more comfortable with Quickshow.

Contact Riya lasers for the nearest distributor. I can sell you the Riya Lite but it would be shipped from USA. Maybe there is a European distributor.

The LaserBoy application is free (not a demo).

The LaserBoy DAC is a modified multi-channel sound card that can be built for about $60.

You can use the LaserBoy DAC with some of the other laser apps out there.

It also plays waves either made in LaserBoy or captured by recording the output of any other DAC.

OK - so pro use for the gear. That`s puts the gear you want to use into another ballpark altogether. I understand that you are quite new to this laserthing, and we all have been there.

Just some bits and word of advice along the way.

There have been discussed some entry software and DAC solutions in this thread. When jumping into the pro-division, the requirements are quite a bit different, and the pricetag of the gear you need are much higher than ISHOW and Spaghetti.

You have not given us the specifications of the actual laser projector that you are going to use, and that is just an important piece as the software and DAC.
The galvos (motors for the mirrors) have to be able to reproduce what the software and DAC are sending through the cable.
The lasermodules including the optics have to have the power and quality required for the job. My first chinese projector had a nice 3mm 1,5 mrad 532nm module (Green) - a 4mm 2mrad 450nm module (Blue) and a 6mm 3mrad 638nm (red) module.
The result was a really fat red beam with a tiny green line in the middle when projecting into a wall more than 5 meters away. Disapointed - yes, because in my mind lasers was pencil thin light travelling perfectly pararel. Sadly that is not the case.
To get to all three colors the same thickness and not expanding at short distance, thats the trick, and what most of the members here at PL are aiming for. (modulevise).

My advise for now is to play around - and read as much as you can here on PL. Accept that lasergear are expensive, ask here when in doubt, be specific in what you actually want to achieve, and my promise to you are a lot of help from the members here at PL.

The total sum of mistakes been done by all PL members, and all the knowlage to fix all of the mistakes are either inside PL or at our fingertips.
