Quads... like four wheelers? If so... I'm really looking forward to this event even more and will have to load mine up!

    quadcopters.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

Dang. I knew it was too good to be true! Lasers and four wheelers and mud trucks would make an awesome weekend but I doubt that's ever happened before!

Technically, it just happened two weeks ago on a little island called Utila off the coast of Honduras. We spend an awful lot of time perched on a four wheeler WITH lasers strapped to it at times. Just ask buffo, neutrino, platiunum, Dan Briggs and Hankloydwright (sp.)

Yep, the E-MU cards work great for playback and recording as well. The only problem is that you have to have a PC.

The one benefit that the E-MU card has over the USBStreamer is that you can setup an AGC only for ADAT channel 7 and 8. So for playback, if you have the sound in some shows much louder than others, the E-MU driver can correct for that on the fly. Which is a nice feature sometimes!

Check Frontier out of Greater Wilmington Airport. ImageLight just scored a great price round trip and, you don't have to pay for long term parking like you do at Philly.

Well, I can't make FLEM this year... but maybe next year if you guys want to carve out one day for Universal. Due to a snafu a couple of months ago with my family, we couldn't use the second day of four 2-park/2-day tickets. So Universal gave me a voucher for four 2-park/1-day tickets I can use anytime in the future. If I can make it FLEM next year, maybe that's something to keep in mind.

On the one day we did go, we hit both parks in one long day.. rode most of the best rides.. Harry Potter was kind of a let-down -- the two main "motion simulator" rides were too violent for my g/f and her son... and the we skipped the HP roller coaster. OTOH, the Butterbeer was awesome, as was the "Hogwarts Express" train that runs between Hogwarts and Diagon alley (you have to ride it in both directions to get the full effect). The other main rides in Universal are pretty good. In case you're wondering, after spending one day at Universal, we bailed on the second day and went to Epcot instead, which was MUCH better than a 2nd day at Universal. I really like EPCOT.

As do I. Epcot is where I would have gone this year had their been time. Last year I got to hit Disney's MGM Studios to see Fantasmic again, thanks to CountFunkula.

We go see Fantasmic every time (it's my g/f's daughter's favorite --- she's 18 years old BTW)... but meh, I could skip it in the future.
