There is a Holiday Inn Express right across the street from the venue and that's where the majority of people stay. HIE Tavares is what you're looking for. Adam may call and see about a group rate after we get back from Honduras so, you may want to hold on until the beginning of the week before making your reservation. I'm sure he'll post that info here.

Dee and I will try to make it but if we do we would not arrive until Saturday late morning. Work is taking over my life so I won't know until the late minute.

    David;

I don't remember your Yamaha speakers. Didn't we use my JBL's last time? If we use your speakers, maybe I won't need to rent a trailer to bring all my stuff down this time. (Hate to use my old trailer because it's not covered.)

Will be good to see you again Fred! Hope you can make it.

Everyone: We are all set. Venue access will be at 11 AM on Friday. We will be able to play all afternoon and evening on Friday, and all day and night on Saturday. Would be nice if a few folks would be able to come back Sunday morning to help me clean up though.

Note: We really need to plan on getting to Angelo's by 6:30 PM.

Two weeks people! Start thinking about what to pack!

    Sweet! Thanks Albert!

Guys, when you get into town on Friday, give me a call on my cell phone. I'll be available after 9 AM. Maybe we can meet up for a late breakfast before heading to the venue...

    Hello,

I will be at the venue Friday morning and can help with load in.

Is there a special FLEM rate at the HIE this year?

I thought I had brought them last year or the year before, maybe not. It's just a pair of speakers with a 15 and a horn, I think only around 400W each. They won't be as loud as yours but they'll get the job done. I'm probably not going to bring my projector so I'll have plenty room in the car them.

Speaking of which, is there anyone that will have a projector available for me to attach the Z-5 to? If not then I'll probably need to consider bringing the ion rig.

I plan on leaving right after the event Saturday night so I'm sorry to say I won't be around Sunday.

I'm likely going to drive. I'm still checking flights but, it's still in the $500 range so, if I drive, I can bring something along to hook up the Z-5. Maybe the all diode Pluto with the 462. I'm probably bringing my Z-5 along too. My thinking is perhaps leaving it with you for the next phase. I'm kinda leaning towards this being a "project" LEM and bringing a few things I have questions about or may need a little lite TLC.

If I drive, I also will be around Sunday morning for a last look over and clean up before hitting the road.

I will bring my 4 plutos. Two are direct diode, the other two have 532 for green. I'm sure we can use one or two for some Z-5 console action!

Brad: if you drive, let me know. Maybe we can meet up for a late dinner on the way down or something.

David: Do you have an amp to drive those speakers? If so, I might just bring the two large JBL's and a pair of the Ashley amps. That might lighten my load enough that I could forgo the trailer... (I'd have to pull the plutos out of the flight cases, but that's not a big deal.)

Yes, in fact the amp has a built in 8 channel mixer. It's a model emx88s. Inputs are 1/4" or XLR.
