There is supposed to be internet in the auditorium. There has been before.

Sigh.... another day with too much to do to get everything done. ClubSELEM is still not entirely set up but, to be fair, some of it has been because we used it for classes today and, discovered more dirty electric. I think that may very well prompt moving to the gymnasium next door next year so we can run all our own power. Buffo got zapped pretty good when we discovered one outlet (with 9 projectors on it!) had 72 volts running through the ground. Jittery output is pretty much standard fare right now.

As always though, it's still been a great time that will sadly end far too fast. Buffo did an outstanding into to lasers class and Laserjock's RC flying seminar was excellent as well. I still don't know what's going to come out of my mouth tomorrow when I do whatever it is I'm supposed to do but, I can assure you it won't be as great a job as these two gentlemen did. I "wing it" well though so, hopefully it will be of value to someone.

Pangolin provided a wonderful BBQ dinner tonight as well. Thanks guys!!!

In the corner of club selem is the network rack, it looks like there's a wifi hotspot dangling by one ethernet cable, but no power (unless it's run by PoE). If we can find the proper power to that router, it might work to supply internet access in the club.

I just plugged the power strip back in and now the network is up. (The hotspot is PoE, but the injector is on the same rack.)

I was able to get down here and convince a few friends to make the trip out with me. I wasn't sure I would make it down so I didn't pre register, can I pay at the door?

Either way I'll be there in about an hour and I'm excited to see what it's all about.

At FLEM Bill stated that the 506's with digital amps would be ready for SELEM that's why I'm asking. Guess there not.

Unfortunately, no. They're coming though; and we have a few exciting projects going on that we're looking forward to sharing once they're a little further along! Bill may comment on some of these at SELEM?
