We obviously need some demos at SELEM.

I'll do a demo at SELEM, but really isn't that interesting. Here is a video of it in action. Note that it doesn't fly long, but it shows that the flight controller is completely overwhelmed.

AWESOME!
The whine of the props sounds like the board is screaming out in terror: "I can't hold it, she's breaking up - she's breaking up!"
I've got one of those mini-quads, and hardwood floors in the kitchen and living room. I'm going to try this when I get home today!

Had some fun today!
The weather was too good to be stuck inside.
For those of you that haven't seen what it's like to fly FPV, here you go.

One question; Why to these quad videos always include some creepily motionless dude wearing goggles??
Seriously, I had a lot of fun watching this one in HD full-screen, Chris! Awesome flying and loved the close fly-bys including what looked like a light touch-down near the end. Please don't try those maneuvers with your full-scale aircraft!

We call that the Stevie Wonder effect.
Thank you for the compliments.
Lol
Thanks for pointing that out... I almost edited that part out of the video. No one will notice, he mutters to himself as he posts.
There's not much I can do about the "Touch n Go", (Dumb Thumbs). I did do a mod to the camera after I got home to remove some of the vibration from the video. They call the vibration in the video Jello and its difficult to eliminate completely. Four rotors spinning at different RPM's make some interesting harmonics.
Why ya chicken?
Hold on. I saw this in a cartoon once. I wanna give it a try.

I found myself occasionally cocking my head to one side or the other watching this in a 27" monitor in sync with the quad. I also found my self thinking... "You know, the three most desired things I think we all want to do is see how high, how fast and how low to the ground we can fly these things."
Great soundtrack!
