    "...The signal input is +/-10V"
Huh? Is this the modulation signal? I thought the standard was 0-5V?

The ILDA standard is 10V Differential, which is +/-5 Volts on each input lead. Each input lead sees a inverted signal relative to the other. This is for noise rejection,as any external electrical noise induced in a cable, would affect both signals equally and would be canceled.. X-Laser is correct.

Good deal for those wanting to try out the 506 scanners.

Adam, I'm guessing the sets for sale are the micromatch connector version, versus the Mini-CT?
Thanks for the kind words Ryan. These amps have the micromatch connector on them, however for this we are including cable sets for use with the mini-ct connectors.

    Ok all -

We did some pencil sharpening and have come out with $445 as the final price. We're going to make a batch for some of our own projects and bring the cost down that way. Instead of waiting for a group buy we have just posted them in our store so those who want them can just go ahead and buy them, and we'll ship as soon as they are ready. The first ones will probably be good to go in about a week.

    Here's the link.

I ordered one set this morning. I think this first batch of 20 will go fast.

Just a quick note: if you are outside of the US the online store will not allow the sale to be completed as we have not figured out how to ship these to Europe and elsewhere as of yet. We're working on that.

As of now, if you have a friend stateside who could forward to you that would be MUCH easier and faster as we have broker and bond issues to deal with. Also we cannot ship to Maryland for tax reasons but that probably applies to almost no one. =)

Thanks to those who already picked up a set. We have about 15 left.

    Cheers!
