NWLEM III - November 20th-22nd, 2015 - Portland, Oregon

Hey all,

Looks like I might be able to make this one. I am still convincing/persuading the wife to let me go. She had a few weekends away with friends so it looks like it might be my turn.

If I can make it I will be driving up from Chico on Friday early morning. I'll either drive back on Sunday or leave first thing Monday morning depending on how schedules work out.

I'll keep you posted.

Tiff and I would love to come, Portland was her town for many many years and I'm sure she'd love to catch up with her old friends. The only hitch is employment; mine took a turn towards the "none" category recently and until its flipped back to "fully" this trip will be in jeopardy. Hopefully I'll have a positive update in the next couple of weeks.

Venue looks fantastic, btw.

@Rick - You need to think of it this way..... taking a turn towards the "none' category means you actually have some rare free time to go! It's usually work issues that cause people to NOT be able to make it!! Maybe you just need to bring something to sell me to cover expenses.

Now we just need to get buffo's arm twisted a little!!

You will be missed! I'll make sure to get a live stream going so you and others that can't make it will have an option to tune in throughout the weekend. Shooting for two feeds this year.

16 days and I'll be in the air.... I'm ready for a break. I don't think I've had a day off from work since the NELEM in early September and rarely is a day any less than 10 hours. Rental car and hotel are taken care of. Anything worthwhile to do on Thursday night? Concerts or "must try" restaurants? I know nothing about Portland. I know I'm going to drive into Washington state at some point, just to add one more state to the list I can say I've been in. I'm at around 42 or 43 of them.
