hey, im just doing very similar construction but with 532nm 2W
(1W CNi OEM with 10W 808pump diode) and with 462nm...
+Compact 506 with KVANT drivers from Phritzler

im expecting about 8-10W before galvos

could you tell me where you bought telescope lens set, what are specs of them and which collimation lenses are you using ?
i need these informations for 637 and 445/462.

could you also tell me what is scanspeed of your PT-A40 ? (at 40*)
i will need one galvo set with bigger mirrors for my 15W rgb

    very nice construction!
hope to see more like this!
QM2000.NET Intro + LivePRO // Easy Lase + Mamba Black

    2x10W 450nm laser projectors - done // 20W RGB under construction...
looking for high quality laser optics / modules / projectors ? ask here

Thanks guys, I love this community

Lari: Modules are fixed on a 250x250x40mm heatsink (fins). This will be hermeticallly sealed, so dust is not a problem.
Below heatsink fins...fans as always. Have to decide if Psu inside sealed cabinet (above laser modules, fixed below top case) or below heatsink along with fans...

Mr. Over: Sorry, cant measure speed/angles right now, I've taken out modules cause I need extra holes on baseplate.
Telescopics: These are Thorlabs positive plano-convex spherical AR broadband EFL25mm lens pairs. So, each telescope is 50mm lenght. ----(l-----focus-----l)-----

This is nice for a compact and small footprint setup, however is a pain to adjust due short FLs. I strongly recommend higher FLs...say for instance two 45-50 Efl each lens or more for a 90-100mm long telescope...otherwise find focus and adjust pinhole is really critical by hand, but possible of course

by the way..I have one 506 scanner set without amps..could you pm where to purchase amps?

    thanks and hope this helps

are you spatial filtering the summed output to clip the edges for perfect alignment?

Excellent! Nice lay out. You always have to decide whether to use short FL lenses or a bulkier case and easier alignment. Another subtle consideration is that the easier the alignment the more accurately you will be able to do it.
