Can I respectfully suggest you avoid starting parallel threads with the same names, as at the very least it causes a good deal of confusion. As stated in the post I will give the the benefit of the doubt, but others may not see it that way.

Thank you for all your inputs I have apologized both individually and to the group you may nudge and barrack me as much as you like I'm a big boy I have now tested the Melles Griot 532nm which in fact is very working well I will accept £250.00 for this laser projector complete with CTI6800 scanners, housing and flight case and which I think is still a very low price I am working my way through the LQ lasers next, all the 2watt laser are working and all the 5watt laser are working apart from one which has a PSU fault which I will take a look at. I have taken pictures as i go and anyone who is interested can message me at info@lm-productions.com for pictures and further info. I have been very open, nothing has been hidden if I have upset you I am sorry but that is an end to it I will not comment any further on this. Thanks Stephen

I can see your point. But I think Stephen needs to respect the culture of PL and realise it may not be a terms and conditions type of site or an auction site, but it does have a certain protocol. Even if he chooses not to follow this protocol then I think at least he needs to respect it and this is the main point I hope I have now communicated to him. He is, of course free to do business however he likes, but just because you "can" act in such a way does not, in my book, mean you "should" act in such a way.

The problem is, 'we' all know how 'we' on the forum like things to happen, but unfortunately, the 'protocol' is not written down anywhere, and nor is it clear to new members who (In this case I believe) was simply trying to offer some old stock for a reasonable price, and got messed up a bit in the engagement with the forum community.

I think all the points have been well made, by you and others. I would hope I have been as balanced as I can be in all my posts on the subject and if I have offended anyone I apologise, I'm only a small guy with hairy feet and so fights don't end well for me There are always two sides to any story and I would be the last to try and arbitrate between wrong and right. To be fair I have made mistakes in the unwritten protocol, even with my 1st post here a few years ago, with no location or intro. But I think the balance is being restored and the status quo will end in a compromise, which is good I could not stand another Status Quo comeback

When posting something for sale is is well to think a bit and set a price you are happy to part with the item for-then post. One can always go down and make people happy but when you go up or refuse to sell at your own set selling price that can cause bad feelings. Best, Phil
