Laser Warning VB.NET Laser Show Software

    Dear Forum Team,
I am currently buying some gear that is probably very basic to what you all have

I am an experienced .NET developer but I want to create my own FREE software for the masses. I am tired that the software out there is 32bit only and expensive. The only problem is that I dont know how it works. If someone can guide me into how this software works, I am sure that in between .NET and Arduino I can write a controller to project images into a laser equipment.
My understanding is that an image has to be converted into dots "lets say a X-Y array" (like points in a graph) and then those points are converted into frames (1 point per frame) and then depending on the location of the X-Y space, that represents a voltage that is passed to the galvo controller so the mirrors are located in a specific position for that frame, the laser dot is shot and then it moves to the next frame.... DO I GOT THAT RIGHT?

please help me as I can provide this software later to anyone who wants it.
    Regards,

    Daniel H

Lot of truth to that statement.

I don't know much about the whole 32 bit versus 64 bit business but, this thread might be worth checking out:

since its very reasonable. As is Spaghetti, which is sold by JohnYaya's (Gary) who answered you first.

Or.... as you said, if it's fun for you to try to create your own. Go for it!

Only problem is that it does not (at least not yet ) support actual output to DACs, which seemed to be the goal of OP. But paired with for example ILD SOS then it becomes a super cheap setup indeed.

    Thanks for all the comments
I am waiting on my galvos o arrice.
Lasers arrived. I bought a cheap TTL controller Green laser. Beam seems a little dirty but I guess nothing to do with that to get a perfect clean beam.
I will go with laserboy and this other one

For now I am just interested in making it work and learn from it.
My goal project is a flying object laser tracking device. I will make a thread once I get closer to gather comments, etc.
