I am an experienced .NET developer but I want to create my own FREE software for the masses. I am tired that the software out there is 32bit only and expensive. The only problem is that I dont know how it works. If someone can guide me into how this software works, I am sure that in between .NET and Arduino I can write a controller to project images into a laser equipment.
My understanding is that an image has to be converted into dots "lets say a X-Y array" (like points in a graph) and then those points are converted into frames (1 point per frame) and then depending on the location of the X-Y space, that represents a voltage that is passed to the galvo controller so the mirrors are located in a specific position for that frame, the laser dot is shot and then it moves to the next frame.... DO I GOT THAT RIGHT?
please help me as I can provide this software later to anyone who wants it.
Regards,
Daniel H
