    In fairness, she was from the Columbia area (not Upstate, but the Midlands - near Lexington I think). Anyway she was not from Charleston. Not that it mattered though. She showed the entire nation why South Carolina schools consistently rank in the bottom 3 when compared to all 50 states. Sheesh!

    OK, OK, Mr. High-brow East Coast South Carolinian.

    I'm only an hour from Columbia, so I'll take 'responsibility' for the dumb blonde, but I DO NOT want any part of the embarrassing 'confederate flag flying on capital grounds' defense. (Thankfully at least that last embarrassment was recently alleviated.)

    Well.... I can say from personal experience that Columbia has Chippendolls. So, at least she would have been able to find gainful employment following the pageant circuit.
