Hey Peter, great to hear you are coming to the LEM too!
Reinder and i will be there from Thursday onwards.

See you there man. More Dutchmen coming in.

P.s. i have some questions regarding audio (or midi) triggers to have the laser "follow" a drummer in a band.
Is there a way to convert audio to midi triggers ? Or have a microphone line running from stage to foh to laptop as an audio input so when the drummer hits a few rotatoms it plays cues from beyond.

And how to have every hit from the drummer result in a different cue be played ?
is it possible to have like an audio/midi triggered LaserJockey function ? I mean i create a full page of cool cues and everytime a hit from the drummer it plays the next cue, following the until the whole page is finished ?

Would it be possible to use pangoscript to do such thing ? Is there anyone that can give some pointers or demo it ?
    I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.

A cup of brew with Andy is very recommendable ;-). Ask if he shows you his CNC, that's an awesome piece of kit!

    Alrighty...

    Hotel Check
    Ferry Check

    Wallet Empty Check

As for the items I will be taking along:

    1 x FD3040
    2 x CLUB2000
    2 x CLUB5000
    1 X Q2000.NET Intro
    1 x QM2000.NET Pro
    1 x FB4 External Full model ( ILDA + DMX )

The truss won't fit in the car along with the rest, so that won't come along.

    Used Gear
Anyone fancy some older type RGBLASERSYSTEM DPSS Modules to fiddle with ? Have a box full of them.
Also have an empty laser casing with a set of CT6210's inside. All it needs is a module, some glass for the front and you're ready.
Anyone fancy any of this. Let me know, then I can bring it.

    Cheers

PeterB, always interested in something I can hack! Bring it along
Looks like I can come along, sans dog, on the 1st and stay until Monday afternoon / evening. Planning to crash out in the hall this time.
Note sure what to bring along; anyone for UV photons?

    another cracking meets, thanks chaps.

had good attendance as well with a number of people coming and going. we had two old faces turn up, mark who started the whole LEM thing off and karl who we haven't seen since Leicester.

lots of fun and games as normal and plenty of laser action, I always look forward to the meets and cant wait for the next one.

what do you do when you get to use a 3d printer for the first time, print a dildo...

Hi all, really annoyed that I missed this, but I had car problems and had to get it running again before going back to work.
Nice to see a collection of ions there - Rob, I see the old Spectra Physics you bought from me is still going
