Nope not yet, still in doubt if I should upgrade my FB3 SLE to Ultimate (reasonable offer on christmas sale and then use it as a dongel) with FB4QS build the projectors - or just start with essential 2.1 (still keeping the FB3SLE) and build in FB4QS - or buy a flexibel FB4 ultimate and FB4QS build in the projectors. [though decisions]
At first I wanted to keep using FB3s but the FB4s are so damn tempting

I still have one extender in use with the FB3's for now. Need to harvest some more money for the FB4's, that's why I am selling the spares or stuff I don't use.
When the time has come I will definitely sell them here.

That's because Brad didn't even read the thread and hasn't really thought about the need for one.

However!...... In reading further, I see: "I will throw in another USB extender for the same price." So does that mean there is a second one available? (Checks wallet...)

In looking closer at the photo... it appears to be a European plug, which naturally makes sense. Does the unit accept varying voltages since we're 110/120v in the US?

Edit: Actually... I see it's 5VDC so, I'd really just need to get a power adapter or maybe even cut off the plug and add an Edison plug to the existing one.

Hi Brad, it comes with an universal power adapter

*edit, there are 3 different power cables and these go into the adapter just use the one that is used in your country.

Then... I suppose I'm in. Can't let Hank be the only one.

If this works as intended, I'll wonder why I didn't do it years ago.

yeah, I just want it to control two projectors up on a shelf, and not have a bunch of thick IDLA cables running down to the table. I'm also getting some noise on one of my 25' ILDA cables which I can't track down. So I hope that having two short IDLA cables and the USB extenders solves that problem. And when I'm done lasering for the night, it's a a lot easier to roll up one CAT5 cable than two long IDLA cables, the FB3s and the USB cables, etc. The only downside is not being able to see the status LEDs on the FB3s on the high shelf.

So I can imagine for Brad's setup and controlling up to four projectors across the room that this really would be a big time and effort saver.

If it works as I expect.... I'll run a permanent cable above the ceiling and in the walls and have jacks at either end of the ballroom.
