I can induce resonance in 6215s at 30k. It pretty easy actually.

Exactly and it's not good for efficient drawing! You will find many scanners having those problems because they want to lower the inertia and get more gain and thus they thinnen their mirrors.. it's all good until you start to actually push the scanners at it's tuning.
Something that the saturns (and believe 506 too) prevents with their ceramic mirrors and more rigid shaft. With LW50k in the past I also had the issue with the coils warming up the scanner reducing it's gain performance and messing up the tuning a little.. nice heaters for your room but not something you want. Saturn galvos dont even get hot with their coil setup (even without heatsinking) reducing the need of mass and surface area to cool. Off course the amps do need proper heatsinking as indicated before.

I'm not sure if I should keep posting pics here or dump them in a gallery of sorts. But all of it is ran on the saturn pretty much.
I use 473nm cni blue (dpss blue) 532nm (dpss green) and 650nm homebuild diode red.
You can get excellent modulation and deep colors if you train your color palletes really well in LD2000 and BEYOND. Just when blanking have some signal be put into the modules to keep them at lasing threshold.
I do the same for diodes as both drivers and diodes are not flawless.
Random note *because of messages*: My work/services are for sale but my delivered content is not
I LOVE 473nm blue. I keep hoping for the day when 473nm hits the diode scene without high-binned 462s or overdriving others to reach that wavelength. Sexy pics though! I am fine with my 506s but those Saturns look like they would be amazing for abstracts!
If you're the smartest person in the room, then you're in the wrong room.
