XY2-100 scanhead interface with 20 bit data?
Hi,
first of all: I know standard XY2-100 frames consist of a total of 20 bits containing 16 bits payload (position) data. What I'm talking about are the position data only.
Nutfield offers a scanhead that comes with a standard 16 bit XY2-100 interface and - according to their description - has the possibility to run with 20 bit too. This is not the (incredibly expensive) SL2-100 interface from Scanlab but seems to base on normal XY2-100 hardware. So has anybody an idea what this data format could look like? Is it something standardised or could this be a proprietary protocol of Nutfield? Any informations or specifications about this?
Thanks!
