Thanks for this thread guys -- I've been moving offices the past week, so had to distract my focus for a few days. I'll be back to working on this protection filter by the end of the week, and will post some more thoughts.

I actually contacted Lars about this module before he posted here about it. I even offered to test it for him, but he didn't even reply to my offer...
I'm sorry -- I have a hard time keeping up with e-mail sometimes. I have a few people testing it already, and I want to make sure I get this protection filter right on my end before I hand out any beta units -- write me again in 2-3 weeks.

And yes, this isn't the low cost market... I mean, from a laser perspective it may be, but from the synth perspective it isn't. I'll probably sell 100-200 of these modules over the course of production, at the max, just due to the size of and specialized nature of the community. (Would love to be surprised.)
